Doctoral research fellow at OsloMet / The Norwegian Agency for Public and Financial Management (DFØ)

I am a seasoned public servant doing a public sector Ph.D. focused on knowledge needed to develop socially sustainable future workplaces facing generative AI. I hold a bachelor's degree in work psychology from the University of Oslo focusing on occupational health psychology and a master's degree focusing on psycho-social work environment. I am above two standard deviations interested in technology and how this impacts us at work and find a lot of inspiration to pursue this line of research in space exploration.

Forecasts show that the public sector in Norway, and our welfare services and level, are facing demanding economic, demographic and competence-related challenges. Exploitation of technology and digitization has long been a technology-optimistic and cross-politically agreed upon area to develop a sustainable public sector in Norway. For us to reap the benefits of the very rapid development within generative artificial intelligence (GAI), we need to know more about the consequences this technology has for employees at work. Through three work streams, the project will generate knowledge about the human encounter with GAI from both a leadership perspective and employee perspective focusing on both wellbeing and ill-being to guide the development of socially sustainable workplaces.
