DIGIT at Arendalsuka

DIGIT had the pleasure of attending Arendalsuka for the very first time this year! The democracy festival is a unique arena where politicians, business leaders, academics, civil society, and everyday citizens can come together to exchange ideas and debate current issues.

There are high expectations for technology, digitalisation, and AI as problem-solvers in Norway, and the week offered a deep dive into that as well as a chance to take a more nuanced view.

This year, we participated as observers, taking in inspiration from the week’s events. Next year, we aim to contribute to the programme with our expertise on digitalisation.
