Recent years have seen a lot of focus on the importance of digitising the court system. This doctoral project will explore to what extent the role and function of the courts change in the face of digital restructuring processes. It will examine how various perspectives and experiences are taken into account in this process, as well as how the commonly accepted benefits of digitalisation may conflict with actual experiences when implemented in practice. By exploring these dynamics, the project hopes to uncover how digital changes are received and interpreted by the various actors in the legal system and reflect on differences in receptivity to new knowledge and practices within the judiciary.
