Veruska De Caro-Barek
Pursuing Dr. Philos. at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology
I am employed as an adviser at the Section for teaching, learning and digital services. In my work, I assist the Norwegian University of Science and Technology’s (NTNU's) lecturers, project managers and/or managers with pedagogical/didactic expertise in digitization processes, e-learning and course design, and technical expertise in using NTNU's e-learning platforms and digital learning tools to provide our educators in all three campus cities with a comprehensive programme of support. Alongside work, I am doing a dr. philos. degree with a focus on cross-campus teaching practices and the development of hybrid learning places. My research is directly linked to my work position.

The research project investigates how the mix of physical and virtual learning environments across NTNU's campuses, and the interaction between them, can promote high-quality learning and support students' learning opportunities across all fields of study. The project will investigate which pedagogical tools, technological solutions and dynamic utilization of physical learning spaces have the best effect and best can safeguard students' learning and professional development in a cross-campus study situation.
