Digital Pasts, Presents, and Futures: Human Consequences - August 24-25
Travel and accommodation support for DIGIT members
Participants travelling to Oslo are eligible for partial reimbursement of travel expenses and coverage of hotel accommodation.
Travel must be carried out in a cost-effective, safe, and appropriate manner. We encourage the use of environmentally friendly travel options where possible. Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to NOK 2,800. Hotel accommodation is covered separately and does not count towards this limit. Please choose a standard and reasonably priced hotel. We typically use hotels such as Thon Hotel Europa or Scandic Holberg.
Reimbursement will be processed after the conference upon submission of the following documentation together with a reimbursement form (download here).
• boarding pass(es) or other proof of travel;
• travel invoice(s) (airfare or train tickets);
• accommodation invoice(s);
• proof of payment (e.g. a bank statement documenting payment).
Hotel guidelines:
• If you attend only the conference (24–25 August), we cover one hotel night (24–25 August).
• If you attend both the conference (24–25 August) and DIGIT Day (26 August), we cover two hotel nights (24–26 August).
• If you attend only DIGIT Day (26 August), we cover one hotel night (25–26 August).
Additional hotel nights are covered only if it is not possible for you to travel on the same day and arrive in time for the start of the programme. Any additional nights must be approved by the DIGIT coordinator in advance.
